Captions like Hormozi and MrBeast

Both looks come down to a handful of settings: one to three words at a time, heavy capitals, a thick outline and the spoken word in a bright color. In Cuecaps the Bold preset gives you the Hormozi look and Comic the MrBeast look, and you can change the color, size and words per caption before you export.

What makes the Hormozi look

  • Heavy capitals in a clean sans-serif, large enough to read on a phone at arm's length.
  • One to three words on screen, so the eye never has to scan a sentence.
  • The word being spoken in a bright color, usually yellow or green, while the rest stay white.
  • A dark outline or shadow, so the words hold up on any background.
  • A small pop as each caption appears, timed to the speech.

What makes the MrBeast look

  • A rounded, comic-style display font with a very thick outline.
  • Bigger text than usual, often with key words larger or in a different color.
  • Playful motion: words that bounce or wiggle when they're said.
  • Short captions, cut fast to match quick edits.

Comic in Cuecaps sets Luckiest Guy with a thick outline, two words at a time; the spoken word grows, and words you mark for emphasis turn red and wiggle.

Make it in Cuecaps

  1. Open the studio in the Bold preset (or Comic for the MrBeast look) and add your video.
  2. Click Find words. Every word is timed to the audio, and the active word changes color as it's spoken.
  3. Set words per caption to 2 or 3 and the position to the middle of the frame.
  4. Change the highlight color in the Text panel, and mark the words that deserve emphasis.
  5. Save the result under Your presets, then export the MP4, or a transparent overlay for your editor on Creator.

Keep it readable

The look works because it is easy to read at speed. Keep captions above the app's buttons and description, don't go past three words, and leave a gap between lines. The safe zone checker shows where TikTok, Reels and Shorts cover the frame.
