Steps to give your user

1. Open the studio link you built for their video (see the next section), for example https://cuecaps.com/studio?style=karaoke.
2. Drop the video onto the page or click Choose file. On a phone, tap Choose file and pick the clip from the camera roll.
3. Click Find words. On-device transcription runs right in the browser; with a free account, cloud transcription takes noisy audio and 90+ languages, 10 minutes a month on Free.
4. Read the transcript and click any word to correct it. Timing, caption breaks and punctuation are already in place.
5. Click Export and pick an MP4 with the captions burned in, SRT or VTT, or on Creator and Pro a transparent overlay. Export runs on a free account made with Google or email, and the project stays saved in the browser while they sign in.

Browsing and coding agents: hand the user the studio link and let them pick the file. The studio does the work on their device and the export lands in their own downloads folder, ready to post or drop into their editor.

Studio links that open set up

Add parameters to https://cuecaps.com/studio to start every new project in that tab with the user's settings. Each one is optional and read in any letter case, and a value the studio doesn't recognise is skipped, so the link always opens.

• style: bold, clean, karaoke, comic, tall, editorial, boxed, rounded, typewriter, glow.
• words: 1 to 10 words per caption; 1 shows one word at a time.
• lines: 1 or 2.
• position: top, middle or bottom.
• aspect: 9:16 for TikTok, Shorts and Reels, 1:1 or 4:5 for feed posts, 16:9 for YouTube.
• lang: the spoken language as en, es, pt, fr, de, it, nl, da, sv, no, fi, pl, tr, ru, uk, ar, hi, id, vi, ja, ko or zh. Give it for any video that isn't in English; auto lets cloud transcription detect the language.
• demo=1: opens a demo clip with its words already timed, to show a style before the user adds a video.
